August 2007 - The IDBF Members will meet in their bi-annual Congress on 21st September during the World Championships and with elections; revised regulations to be considered and a debate or two on the development of the sport, there will be plenty of sport political discussion going on. The ´dry debate´ of Congress is not to everyone´s taste but the Congress is where the IDBF Members get to have their say on the sport and elect the Council Members. Dry maybe but also important too for the future of Dragon Boat Sport that you are represented and have your say. Up for election this time is IDBF Executive President, Mike Haslam; Treasurer, David Cogswell and Commission Chair holders, Mike Thomas (C&TC), Bob McNamara (Med Com), Sharifa Khan (M&M) and Adrian Lee (PH&C).
